here's the coloured version of the ink sketch I did for a friend, using the illustration backgounds that were used in the film and the book. I'ts really my first watercolour painting so i'm somewhat pleased that it's not absolutely dreadful.

Decided to practice some pen work in illustrator and used Mary Blair as inspiration. Used only 2 leaf shapes then played with the colour.

A friend of mine asked for a pic of Winnie the Pooh, so this is what I came up with after referencing the film and book with pics from the original artist that illustrated for A.A. Milne. So, the characters are © of Disney

I found a picture online of my former art prof Jan Brancewicz from university and figured I'd give it a go. He had a real dry sense of humor and was a really good teacher which sometimes is hard to find in post secondary education even though they know their stuff, which he did. I wish I would have been able to take a few more of his classes before I left.
